Minimums

Every client is accessed on case by case as to the development needed but as a rule of thumb, anything under 50 of a style would warrant a UK run production whilst upwards of this, Our powerful alliances and select manufacturing partners in Turkey will run the production.

Budgets

It is good to have this in mind when approaching the subject, like most industries, It is difficult to do this on a shoestring and we will discuss at first meet.

Management Team

GALLERYtr was founded in 2014 by Tom Lipop. Eser Aydemir and Volkan Gurpinar. Tom and Eser initially sourced production for their own brand, selecting Turkey due it it´s reputation for highly skilled workers and due to Turkey being Eser's native tongue. With growing requests for production management they set up a network of expert artisans and collaborating factories.  They have since produced collections for designers UK based across Europe and as far as Australia.

With Tom based in London, Eser floating between London and Turkey and Volkan Gurpinar, Istanbul based, 'He is the man on the ground'. Volkan, no newbie to the industry running upto 60,000 units a month currently but with a network capable of far greater numbers. If he does not know the factory or the 'place' then it is not worth knowing. Having visited Turkey initially to source production for their own label, A gap in the market was seen for high quality, low volume production with a 'go between ethos' only capable of being filled by a designer meets production manager and a complete operation offering services to international designers.

THE NETWORK

For the production we have long standing relationships with a network of partner factories, relationships that have been developed over years of collaboration. The factories have been trained in high quality production and more complex construction methods to meet the standard required by our level of brands. We offer low production volumes otherwise unavailable in Turkey by representing groups of designers thereby lowerering production prices and allowing our clients a more competitive price point whilst maintaining price point.

Services include CMT, Finishing, Packaging, Embroidery, Print, Labeling, Digital Printing, Leather accessories, Knit, Jersey, Wovens, Technical, Fabric sourcing and production, Trims development and everything in between. 

WHY

The UK is no longer a world production centre and a trained and skilled work force is difficult to find at prices that still allow UK designers to compete in the global market-place. Whilst we support made in the UK, and encourage young brands to produce locally, we offer emerging brands with volumes of 50+ per style the option to produce abroad without waiting until they reach volumes of 500+.
